If you receive an error message that says "Validation Failed" at the top of the Validate Plan page, this could be for several reasons. If this message is showing up and 1 or more of the validation checks shows a status other than "Running" or "Not Started", there could be an issue with one of the individual validation checks. In these cases, refer to the documentation for each test:
- Why does my CAD file not pass the Structure check?
- Why does my CAD file not pass the Georeference check?
- Why does my CAD file not pass the Dimension check?
If the error message looks like the picture above - where the Structure check shows a status of "Running" or "Not Started", please perform the following checks in the order listed below:
1) Check that your CAD file size is 10 MB or less. CAD files that are over 10 MB in size will cause this error message to appear.
2) Check that your CAD file does not have any Layer Filters, or 3D elements/insets. If these are present, please remove them and then attempt to process your CAD file and plan image through SPOC again.
3) SPOC may be experiencing a temporary application issue, or there may be a different issue with your file. Please create a New Support Ticket and include your CAD file and plan image so we can investigate.
4) Re-create your SPOC account by going to the SPOC Landing Page and clicking Create an account. Enter in the same Surveyor Registration ID and other information associated with your current account, click Sign Up, and follow the instructions from there. Afterwards, attempt to submit your files through SPOC again.
- NOTE: This step should be a last resort and should only be taken after attempting the solutions noted previously.
