Once the Georeference check runs, the result of the check will show up in a colored box to the left. You can expand the results by clicking the plus (+) button to the right, which will open a drop-down that shows information about the results of the test.
If the Georeference check fails, this could be for several reasons:
1. Incorrect georeference information was entered on the Survey Details page. Check the Legal Locations, Datum, Projection and Central Meridian fields in the survey plan to ensure they are entered correctly.
2. The survey plan extent - as indicated on Layer 8 in the CAD file - is outside of the Legal Locations specified in the Survey Details page. Check that the survey plan is located in the correct quarter section(s) in the CAD file, and check that the Legal Locations have been entered correctly on the Survey Details page. You may also need to correct your CAD file georeferencing by moving the CAD content to the NAD 83 coordinates of the Reference Point (RP) before you resubmit.
3. The 3D view in the CAD file is incorrect. It should be set to "Top."
4. There is an issue with the validation check itself. In this case, the colored box on the left would likely show up yellow and/or a validation error message would show up on top of the page. In this case, contact the SPOC Helpdesk by creating a New Support Ticket and we will investigate.
